Horrific cruelty inflicted on animals

Never before have humans inflicted so much suffering on animals as they do today. This is largely due to the increased amount of factory farms, but also to other factors such as the economic recession which in many countries leads to mass abandonment of animals. The horrific truth is that, in this moment, billions of animals are tortured, abused and neglected across the world – also in our own country.
