Horrific cruelty inflicted on animals by humans
Humans today inflict more suffering on animals than ever before. Factory farming confines billions of land animals—and trillions of fish and marine animals—to overcrowded, stressful, and often brutal conditions. These systems prioritize maximum production at minimal cost, depriving animals of space, natural behaviors, proper care, and humane treatment.
Industrial animal agriculture also devastates the environment. It drives climate change, deforestation, water pollution, and biodiversity loss. Overfishing and destructive aquaculture further harm marine ecosystems, contributing to the ongoing “sixth mass extinction” caused by human activity.
Climate change is reshaping ecosystems faster than many species can adapt. Rising temperatures, habitat loss, and disappearing food sources threaten animals from polar bears to insects and amphibians. Human activity also spreads diseases in wildlife, such as avian influenza
The oceans are under immense pressure. Overfishing depletes fish populations, destructive practices destroy habitats, pollution poisons waterways, and rising temperatures disrupt marine life. Noise from ships and industrial activity further disturbs whales, dolphins, and other animals that rely on sound.
Pollinators like bees and butterflies face habitat loss, pesticides, monocultures, and climate change, all of which contribute to declining populations—threatening both wildlife and crops humans rely on.
Poaching and illegal wildlife trade push iconic species like elephants, rhinos, tigers, and pangolins to the brink of extinction.
Hundred of millions of dogs and cats suffer worldwide due to irresponsible breeding, abandonment, and inhumane practices such as the dog and cat meat trade.
These are only a few examples of the immense suffering humans cause animals globally.

The animals need our voices more than ever!
